Teaching at St Andrew's

We believe that Teaching is an important part of our Christian life, and St Andrew's aims to provide teaching in many different forums for a variety of ages and experiences.
We are increasingly using 'themes' that are addressed in our services, in our housegroups and in Junior Church (see below for the current theme). You can follow the link to recordings of sermons and talks at St Andrew's.
For details of the teaching for our children and youth groups, see their pages: Scramblers (3-5 years), Climbers (5-8), Explorers (9-11), Teens & In Betweens (12/Yr7 ), Pathfinders (11-14) and Quest (14-18). For adults, we also have housegroups that meet in homes around the parish, and we run various courses and events from time to time.
We have a stimulating Resource Centre in the church vestibule, featuring books, DVDs, CDs, etc. available for your use.
Our Teaching for Lent 2009 was focussed on Prayer, and was entitled Praying the Kingdom. It was held from 25 February - 11 April:

Our Vision for Teaching has led to common courses and themes across our sermons and housegroups. In 2007 we focussed our teaching on Paul's letter to the Philippians. Click here for details of that study course. In 2008 we studied Nehemiah - click here for those Study Pages.
