Baptisms and Marriages

To arrange a marriage service you need to contact the Vicar via the Parish Office.

To get married by banns in the Parish one of you must either live in the Parish or be a regular worshipper and on the Electoral Roll.

We will always try to fit in with the first choice of date and time for your marriage ceremony, but you must make sure you book the church before booking a reception as there can be various reasons why the date is not always available.

The birth of a child is the most amazing, wonderful and life-changing event. It is also a very special moment to bring the child to church to give thanks to God for the miracle of life. That is of course one part of baptism.

Older people are baptised too.  We are always happy to bring people to God whatever their age.  For babies and young children, it is usual to have three godparents, two of the same sex as the child and one of the opposite sex, but some people do vary this.

To book a baptism, simply ring the Parish Office and we will book an appointment to see you and discuss the details.
