Carroty Wood residential adventure activity centre is popular with schools, church youth groups, local authority groups and adult training organisations.

CarrotyBarnabas Adventure Centres (BAC) is a Christian-based outdoor adventure activity charity whose mission is to invest in the lives of young people through the provision of their 4 UK outdoor adventure activity centres. BAC seek to encourage positive development of young people, building self esteem, confidence and team spirit. Around 40,000 mainly young people visit the centres each year.

 



CarrotyCarroty Wood is perfect for adventurous outdoor learning - offering optional instructed activities (AALA licensed) such as kayaking, climbing and rafting, free PSHE sessions for schools, great facilities and great accommodation plus catering or self-catering options. Carroty Wood is in a beautiful rural location at North Tonbridge, yet only one hour from London and the south coast.

Between 17 and 200 people can be accommodated (130 between Oct-Apr), in 4 self-contained modern "A" framed buildings. Each contains a lounge/dining area, well-equipped kitchen, toilets, showers, pay phone and drying room (except Woodpecker).
