Explorers
This is a lively, enthusiastic group of boys and girls. After our Worship time, Explorers take over the main hall. The children are encouraged to pray, to read God’s Word for themselves and to find their own way around the Bible.
Discussions are noisy and everyone participates! Like other groups their learning is reinforced with quizzes, games, cooking, craft, problem-solving activities and anything else that their leaders can come up with!
Explorers are encouraged to take on responsibilities within Junior Church (putting out equipment, looking after younger children and some even go on to lead/help with teaching groups). We aim to involve all children in the services from a young age, so that by the time they reach Explorers they will feel at home.
