
“Christianity is boring, untrue and irrelevant.”
At least one of those adjectives is likely to stick when it comes to the popular view of what has become the faith that has the largest number of adherents in the world today. Sometimes it sums up the views of those brought up to go to church.
St Andrew’s Church, Oxshott regularly gives individuals, with some faith or none, the opportunity to examine the evidence and origins of Christianity by running Alpha or Christianity Explored Courses.
The Alpha Course began on 18 September 2008.

IF GOD DID EXIST WHAT WOULD YOU ASK?

Alpha runs for one evening a week (Thursdays) for about 10 weeks with a Saturday away after the 6th week. The evening begins with a meal followed by a talk and finishes with the opportunity for questions and informal discussion. This year we are launching our Alpha Course with a dinner at the Woodland Park hotel for Christians and their friends with Archie Coates from HTB speaking after dinner.
