A heartwarming prayer meeting

Despite traffic gridlock on the A244, Wednesday’s (3 September) prayer meeting gathered 36 of us to pray in three groups for the services and activities in the renewed church building. The sense of unity and expectancy was encouraging and heartwarming. Thank you to everyone who attended and also thank you to those who couldn’t make it but were praying wherever you happened to be.

Mike Shand led us in a reflection on 2 Chronicles 7:12-16 as it applies to us today. If this passage doesn’t readily come to mind, you may wish to look it up and appreciate the promises and note the conditions.

We continue to pray for New Start and for Jeremy who leads the services on Sunday, not to mention the Cox wedding on Saturday.
