We have had a fantastic time at ‘New Wine’ camp in Shepton Mallet in 2007 and 2008 in lovely
The camping holiday at New Wine provides a wonderful week to bring families and friends together in a safe and uplifting Christian environment. The Pitts, Burns, Zabaris with Torrs, Stewarts and Herberts visiting at the beginning of the week have had a busy, but wonderful time.
Each day begins with breakfast, then activities for the children and lively worship for the adults with about 5,000 others in a huge tent in Venue One. A trip to the marketplace for coffee and a browse round the stalls and displays for a bit of shopping, followed by picking up the children and lunch back at the tents.
The children's and youth groups have been tremendous - Alistair and Sandy at Peebles (Alistair, aged 2, prayed in front of hundreds), Leah and Jamie at Groundbreakers - learning new songs and Guy and Ian at cool teenage groups with very loud music and gunging!
