St Andrew’s Pre-School

St Andrew's Pre-School provides sessional care for 36 children. It operates from the church hall and has access to kitchen, toilets and enclosed outdoor play facilities. Children attend mainly from the local area.

There are currently 34 children on roll. The setting supports children who have special educational needs and children who speak English as an additional language.

Opening hours are 09:15 to 12:15 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 09:00 to 11:30 on Wednesdays and 09:15 to 11:45 on Fridays during term time only.

There are 10 part time staff who work with the children, of these, 3 have a recognised child care qualification to level 3 and 1 is currently working towards one.

Ofsted said:

"St Andrew's Pre-School provides good quality care for children. Some staff attend ongoing training to update and improve their knowledge and the space and resources are organised effectively so that children's needs are met. Staff provide a warm and welcoming environment and offer a good range of toys and activities so that children are well occupied."
