Teens & In-betweens
A fun and informal time for this age group to meet together and to explore the Bible with puppets and drama. They are given basic puppet training and the freedom to discuss & develop ideas, characters and scripts.
Confirmation classes are available each year during Lent for any young people who want to explore their faith further.
Each child is encouraged to take part or lead Junior Church activities as well as be involved in the more general Church services: helping with collections, prayers, leading other children etc. In this way they are encouraged to take an active and regular part in Church life and are given an opportunity to grow in faith and become our Church of the future.
Each year this group goes away together over the Bank Holiday in August for a time of fun and bible study together. Church friendships that are cemented through the “teen years” are strong and hold together even as the young people branch out into University and life beyond.
