10 years to Teens

Come and join in a busy programme with something for everyone. All age groups are given a very warm welcome at St Andrew’s, from newborns to teenagers. Josey Wisdom (Youth and Children’s Pastor) and her team of many helpers and leaders ensure a safe, enjoyable and meaningful time for all children and young people, their parents and carers.



When: 5.15pm – 6.45pm on alternate Sundays

What: Bible study and games in a local home:

Who: 10 to 14 years (school years 6 to 9)

OY! Oxshott Youth Club

Meet up with friends for games, craft and fun

When: Every Friday during term time, between 8pm and 9.30pm

What: A busy, fun youth club with table tennis, table football, badminton, games, cooking and crafts in the church vestibule and hall, and outdoor games when the weather permits. Just turn up on the evening to register

Who: 10 to 14 years (school years 6 to 9)

Cost: 50p a week [

Extras: Christmas parties, fund raising for charities Comic Relief and Children in Need plus themed games evenings

Taking the next step

When: The annual course running up to Confirmation is around eight weeks long. Interest should be registered with Josey and the course will run during the autumn.

What: Topics for study would normally include

  • ‘Who is the Father?’
  • ‘Who is the Son?’
  • ‘Who is the Holy Spirit?’
  • ‘How and why do we read the Bible and pray?’
  • ‘The Church’
  • ‘What is Holy Communion?’
  • ‘What happens at the Confirmation Service?’

St Andrew’s Worship Band

Playing at Sunday services

When: Sunday services (see church calendar for service times); Saturday rehearsals, usually 5pm to 7pm

What: Young people are welcome to join the Worship Band
