Good food, great people and a thought-provoking speaker…
Not been to a women’s breakfast before? Everyone is very welcome, whether you go to church or not. It’s the perfect start to a weekend – go to a nice local pub or hotel on Saturday morning, make lots of new friends, eat a delicious breakfast, and then listen to a truly inspiring speaker.
St Andrew’s Women’s Breakfasts are held two or three times a year and attract an impressive line-up of speakers that span the spectrum of arts and science, business and the professions.
Past speakers include:
- A life with crime – Lucy Bogue talked about improving the lives of offenders
- Romance with a pop star – Lucy Hendly Jones told of an amazing love that lifted her out of the impossible
- An audience with a local author – Sarah de Carvalho spoke about the inspiration behind her novel ‘Solomon’s Song’
- The army, Afghanistan and beyond – Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie Westerman shared her extraordinary experiences in the Armed Forces
Usual cost is around £15.
