Christianity Explored

Christianity is boring, untrue and irrelevant…Christianity Explored logo

A popular view held by many? Certainly held by some. Yet the Christian faith has more believers than any other in the world today.

Christianity Explored is a seven week course to help you understand from the bible who Jesus is, what he did and what he has to do with your life. The Christianity Explored course is held at St Andrew’s – a chance to look at the evidence and origins of Christianity.

Who goes?

People who have done the course say it brought them to a personal faith in Jesus, and it transformed their values and thinking. Some people who do the course are considering for the first time what Christians believe, for others it might be a sort of homecoming to a faith they were introduced to as a child.

What’s it all about?

Essentially Christianity Explored involves working through the 16 short chapters of Mark’s gospel  to answer three key questions: ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘Why did he come?’, ‘What does it mean to follow him?’.

What happens?

A typical meeting starts with some food, followed by a short DVD or talk, followed by time to chat. It’s an opportunity to meet some great people and you don’t need to know anything about the bible to join in.

Who started it?

Christianity Explored is an independent UK charity run by Rico Tice from All Souls Church, Langham Place in London. CE produces courses and materials to help people understand about Jesus – the materials have been translated into 20 languages and are used in 60 countries in all kinds of churches.
