Regular services have necessarily been suspended at St Andrew’s during the present situation

But you can still keep in touch with our weekly ‘Listen & Pray’ video services and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday online prayer meetings via zoom. Most Life Groups are also holding online meetings.

31 July update

We are delighted that we can open our church doors for a short service on Sunday mornings during August, although we are sorry that the guidelines are still quite onerous, and we thank you for your co-operation, patience and understanding in order to keep everyone safe.

See Frances’ pastoral letter for more details and how to book.

St Andrew’s Sunday and Weekday Services

There is a wide variety of services catering for all tastes, from traditional spoken Book of Common Prayer or Holy Communion with choir and organ to contemporary music led worship. The teaching programme is the same for all of them. Children and young people are always welcomed and special provision is made for them during the 11am service.

Regular service schedules

The regular pattern of services is shown below. However, during the summer, other holiday periods, and festivals including Christmas and Easter, the services may be subject to time changes.

A quiet and reflective spoken service of Holy Communion on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month. You are invited to stay after the service on the fifth Sunday to enjoy coffee and a time of fellowship.

Holy Communion

A service of music (choir and organ), prayer, teaching and Communion, led by the ministry team.

There is no Communion on the third Sunday of the month, when there is a service of morning prayer.

Refreshments are served between the 9.15am and the 11am services.

Oxshott Praise

A service of modern worship, with contemporary songs led by the worship band, featuring a bible reading, drama, prayer and teaching for both adults and children.

StAks runs alongside this service each week.

On the third Sunday, the service includes Communion.

Oxshott Family Praise

On the first Sunday of each month, we have a service for families, where the children stay in with their parents throughout. This service includes easy to understand bible teaching, lively songs with children singing with the band, an appearance from the puppets and creative prayers.

But you don’t have to have children to come along – the audience ranges from 0 to over 80!

Holy Communion

A service of teaching and worship.

There are many opportunities during the week to join us to pray for the parish.

St Andrew’s hold services at Sunrise Senior Living and Gunters Mead for residents and their families. More information…
